Will I ever get my bed back?
These pics are of last saturday. It was a gorgeous day. A few days before it was 19 degrees and 38 as a high and then a few days later we are in t-shirts and shorts.
Jax has his own room. He will play in it, have friends over and mess it up but he WON'T sleep in his bed. I have done EVERYTHING! charts, stars, promises of a Happy Meal every day, promises of Thomas the Train...etc... I have watched the Super Nanny thing and it takes me almost 15 times before he will finally stay in his room but when I think he is in his bed. He is asleep at the top of the stairs!!! Notice the pic below! Every once in a while he will fall asleep in his bed but it's not long before a bag of his trains hits me in the head, then his stuff animals join the party and then he is RIGHT ON TOP OF ME!!
Now, don't get me wrong. I love that he loves to sleep with me. I love to snuggie with him and love that he even wants to snuggie with his independence thing he is going through. But I don't sleep! I toss and turn and have sore ribs and pulled hair and every once in a while I get knocked off the bed. As a baby he slept in his crib and he used to sleep in his room but he has decided that my bed is his bed!!!!
And yes! I have tried to move into his bed and down on the couch but it seems once I get into a deep sleep a little bird starts to make his nest again after finding out where I have moved too :). Jax, like me, when I was young, LOVES to sleep with all his toys, stuffed animals, blanket, etc..etc...so our bed if just full of love and favorite things!
What to do?
