He Sleeps~

I am so grateful for sleep when sick. I am so grateful for Motrin and Tylenol to help ease some of the pain. I LOVE to lay and watch Jax sleep. He's so peaceful and restful and just so beautiful. His fever was so high that his beautiful full lips were so red and his eyelids were major red. His cute ears were extremely bright red and darn those fevers!

I called Dr. Jeremy Broadhurst!! so AWESOME! to say!! to voice my concern about his never ending fever and how bad he was feeling and can a high fever really stay that high for a long time! and yes, it can! especially with the flu. Jeremy offered to call in some amoxicillian to help with any infection and help the ears out and I am so blessed that we got such a HUGE bottle of it! Many great thanks Jeremy!

I am so tired and whilst my little bird slept I should have gone to bed as well but I am so tired of being in bed so Max and I sat on the edge of it eating cucumbers and popcorn and crying while Izzy told Mr. Darcy that her affections from a year ago had changed and my heart leaped with happiness and my bossoms heaved with joy, tears running down my face, and Max howled with delight as well (not really, but let's pretend) and then I would have to switch the channel to the Oscars and then I would get vaklimpt as some one would win and oh! what a night!!! A few times Max did look at me like "What the Hell! I need a new owner". I am sure Max called the pound while I was gone today asking to be picked up straight away!

Oh the madness of two great shows on during one night! I just could taste and feel the emotions of both shows!! I love it! I need a TIVO. I love all movies. I do love chick flicks. More into action and let's really kick some ass but watching all the Jane Austin movies I feel such emotion. I feel their kisses and their burning bossoms desire, etcc.. and you feel like if they don't kiss, right then, right there, at that moment EVERYTHING will just explode! Oh, the drama. ......... I think I need some juice! .......See, this is a prime example of what happens when you are socially retarted as I am!!!! lol...snort!! well, since I am in the english mode. I shall take my bathe and drink my tea and shall go straight away to bed so I shall be proper company come the morning!!! See ya on the morrow!

OMG! I have to stop!

We've got the Flu

Wednesday I went to pick Jax up from day care and as soon as Mary Rose said that Jax thinks he is gonna throw....Jax projectiled all over the carpet, himself and Mary Rose and myself and Jax was burning up. Anyway, a trip to the doctor confirms he has the flu and we have been dealing with the flu since. I came down with it on Friday morning and felt like some one ran over me. Even my teeth hurt. Jax's fever broke Saturday and he was starting to act his normal self and then around 5:30ish this a.m. he woke me up just bawling with a high fever again so I don't know if this is an ear infection now or if it's just still the flu. So, another trip to the doctor again tomorrow.

Jax just came down stairs and said he couldn't stand being in bed any longer and asked if he could sleep on the couch and I said "Of course"! So, here is my little bird all zonked out! And Max he's a great keeper. Max loves Jax and he is always by his side. Max has decided that my old curtains is his new snuggie blanket. And Max just got into trouble for dragging papers, my purse and other things off the table while I went to the bathroom. He is into everything. Just like having a toddler!

I am still feeling bad but okay enough to start scrubbing the bathroom and cleaning bedding and trying to get the flu bug outta the house. We haven't eaten anything but gator aid, popsicles and a bit of ice cream since Wednesday night so I am making some mac/cheese for Jax as he has been begging me for some and he really wants strawberries so I made him a nice big bowl. I doubt he will eat any.

Well, I am tired just writing this so I think I will lay on the couch and snooze since the rest of the house is warm, comfy and snoozing away.
