Non Eventful Saturday

I stayed up late last night watching movies and at 3:00ish a.m. several friends called and said they wished I could come out to waffle house with them. I was already awake watching movies. I never stay up so late and even though I LOVE night time and I am a night owl motherhood has made me a 7:30 - 8:00 p.m. sleeper. So, as Jax would say "I have a good idea!"and I invited my friends over for breakfast and movies and we ate a HUGE breakfast of eggs, hashbrowns, waffles, sausage, milk, orange juice and cereal! It was so much fun. I hadn't done that in a year or so! Jax woke up at 6:30 and was sooo excited to see friends and a good breakfast made. He was really, honestly, mad at me that I didn't wake him up when every one arrived. So, we were all full with a great breakfast, fun movies and fun friendship.

I LOVE having people over and I miss living in an apartment complex because after working all day every one stops by for dinner, to chat, to watch a movie... always something going on and Jax is just as social as I am. So, I had a great time!

It's a brisk, extremely windy day and Jax and I did bubbles for a few hours and we mainly hung around the house. I tried to get Jax to go see "Alvin and the Chipmunks" but NOGGIN has kidnapped my son! He loves all the shows that come on and we have been real tv junkies all day! I love it! I love "nothing" days where you have nothing planned and either nothing really happens or something unexpectedly happens! Great fun.

Here are few pictures of Jax with his bubble wand and Max is so excited for St. Patricks Day he had to wear his funny ears that Aunt Natalie gave us! Max! what a dog!

How I Feel Today! :)

****Today is a nice rainy day. Big thunderstorms are expected tonight as a big cold front is moving in. Sunday will be chilly and our spring weather will be cancelled out by our reminder that it is still winter, technically.
****It was hard to come to work today. Jax begged me to stay home and I would have done so if we hadn't taken 5 days off with our flu. Jax had a rough night last night. I don't know if he kept having bad dreams but he would sleep for five or ten minutes and then wake up just sobbing and he kept telling me he didn't know what was wrong. It makes me feel bad and he has done this once before. It was a rough night. He finally settled down around 5:00ish and woke up clingly and happy at 6:30. Geez.. should I be worried? Was it just a bad dream?
****When asked what I want to do with my life right now at this moment I say I want to be a stay at home Mom. I want to find a job where I can work from home and take Jax to school and pick him up. I just can't have Jax in a before and after program and then be at school all day. I am tired of hearing "He will adjust", "kids are durable and tough these days and they need to toughen up for the world". Well, I call bullshit on that! Maybe i know how life is and I want him to enjoy his time as a kid but I LOVED coming home to a loving mother with muffins made, soup or dinner smells wafting through out the house and I don't want some one else caring for him.
****Thanks to Natalie I have been reading a lot about energy and how all positive energy will come your way if you really desire it. So, I have been up OCDing over what jobs I can do to stay home. or work while Jax is at school. I am creating a virtual assistant website so I can do office work from home, getting my notary so I can do real estate closings and possibly creating a shuttle service/day care as there are so many parents who can't afford after and before care during the year round school. Just ideas but I believe I have to work hard and put my ideas out there in the universe to get results.
****I have four months to get a plan together and get the ball rolling and I am very excited to see what will happen and how things will work out.
****It's sad, as so many people at work and even friends, tell me I can't do this. I just look at them. Well, why not? Other people work from home? other people, like my brother Preston, create at home jobs and is very successful! Negative people bring ya down!
****So, with Jax being so sad last night and clingy this morning it makes me work all the more harder in getting income to help me stay at home more for Jax. He is my world. He is worth it and so am I. A great miracle happened to me on April 17th 2003 when my little bird was born! :)
So, I welcome ideas for jobs~ I know good things are to come!

I love that movie! It's great fun!

The body is amazing and you never know what your plan in life is! Think positive!

OH!! this is NOT Good

Last night I feel asleep around 9:00ish after American Idol. At 10:58 I heard a huge BAM!! and I was on my feet and outta my bed so fast and was not sure what was going on! Jax and the dog were also out of the bed and both crying. I had all the windows open upstairs as it's nice and warm and so breezy. We were expecting a storm but wowser!! did we ever get one.

I kid you not! the whole house was shakin, you could feel the wind walking on the roof. I ran and shut all the windows and while I shut my one window my sheer drapes got sucked out into the wind. The trees were snapping and crackling all over and the rain was so severe. The hail was golf ball size and just hitting everything in site. I was actually freaked out. Just as I turned on the tv the power went out.

So, I ran downstairs and put pillows, and tons of blankets in the bathroom for shelter and then unplugged everything. The wind was so fierce and I swear to you!! that I could hear it talking in an evil dark groan! It was horrible. I kept listening for a train whistle but thank goodness never heard one. I grabbed Jax and Max and we stayed hurdled in the bathroom until midnight when it became completely silent. The silence was even scary.

I took Jax and Max back upstairs, tucked them into my bed and went outside and my yard is a complete mess and lightning hit the tree outside my bedroom window and that is what the BAM was from. I will take pictures.

I kept telling myself "Oh! this is not good"! Thank goodness we were safe. needless to say, I am tired as I had a hard time settling down after all that and Max peed on the carpet because he was terrified and I went ahead and cleaned the carpet. Poor guy! thank goodness for carpet cleaners.

Thanks to all my friends who called at all hours to make sure I was okay and thank goodness to good neighbors who were as scared as I was and came to check up on us.

Just another reminder of "you never know what is gonna happen".

Today is sunny and 65 degrees....sigh~

Weekend Fun

Jax and I went to Audrey's Baptism and she was beautiful and so glowing and happy. It was very sweet and I really believe she was very ready to be baptized. We all went to eat Chinese....again... but I wasn't complaining! Beef and broccolli is my fav-o-rite! We were driving back to Sheri's house to play for the day when the realtors called and said they would be showing the house! We were bummed but Jax and I decided to say goodbye to Natalie and the rest of the gang.

We stopped by Walmart and got BubbleWands! They are so much fun! I love them. We went home and played for hours, I mean hours! with bubbles! The bubble wands are only $1.97 so it's a great deal. Natalie gave Jax a bubble machine and let me tell ya! bubbles were everywhere!

A good friend called and said "let's go for a walk, then dinner and a movie" so our walk was wonderful as it was a great weather day! Mexican is Jax and my favorite food so we went to eat mexican and I ate lots of chips and salsa. I love me some salsa! Jax's appetite is returning after eating nothing but apple sauce and drinking lots of liquids. Jax's belly was so full he passed out in the car on the way home and we settled down and watched "Rush Hour3". I laughed so hard. I LOVE Chris Tucker! He is silly and gives me the giggles.

**Sunday Jax woke up starving! He said "Mom!", "I have a GREAT idea!", "Let's go to Waffle House!, PLUUUUEEEEASEEEE!!! so, we went in our jammies to Waffle House. It's jax's favorite breakfast places. He always gets the Grand Slam, as I call it. He seriously ate two scrambled eggs, two sausage patties, one piece of toast, hasbrowns and a waffle and two glasses of orange juice. None of the waiters/waitresses could believe he ate all that!! That's my boy! He is constantly eating and outgrowing his clothes.

After breakfast Jax and Max played out side while I did chores and then we went to see "The Bee Movie". It was very cute and Jax loved it. He hardly ate any popcorn as he was so into the movie. After the movie we came home and took a long nap! It made for a great day and we had a great weekend!

FUN! FUN! FUN!

For whatever reasons all the pictures are way spaced out! I am sorry! and I am too tired to try and fix it. Just keep a scrolling!

(Can you imagine bugs and insects being that big? Sorry these aren't in order. I can never get them straight.)

**Jax and I are feeling better. We spent a few hours on Tuesday with Natalie and it was GREAT to see her again and to chat and catch up. I truly love her and miss her a lot.

*Wednesday was such a fun day! It was Natalie's birthday!! and she treated us all to so much fun! I felt like a kid in a candy shop all day and the day of fun kept going and going and going! It was great! Everyone skipped work and school and we headed to the museum. Jax and I LOVE our museum. It is really great fun and their are so many great things to see... alive and dead :) Jax and I love the dinosaurs the best.

After the museum we went to pig out at Mcdonalds and then saw the funnest movie called "The Waterhorse" http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/thewaterhorse/index.html

It was a very fun movie. Jax liked it although he keeps telling me there was some scary parts in it :)

Then we headed over for some fun bowling. Jax and I slept in the car as we were so tired and still recovering from being so sick. We were able to see Natalie kick everyone's butt at the very end.

Then Chinese food!! which we love and then back to the house for cake!

**I love fun filled days like that! You just keep going and eating and laughing and just enjoying the fun moments of life!

*THANKS!! Natalie for a great birthday!
