It's All Paula's Fault....heheheeee!! Where I grew up!

I have been talking to Paula Knapp-Mullins and Melrose and my childhood have been on my mind. Melrose is calling my name and man! I can't stop dreaming and thinking about moving back to my old street. Jax could go to Melrose Elementary like I did, and we could go camping and the beach is just 45 minutes away and we have the Knapps, Copelands, Fenders and lots of other friends, etc.. etc.... I think I may start packing tonight.... and you think I am kidding!!!
Tom and Millie's house is for sale on our street for $116,000.00. It's a small cozy cottage and re-done totally inside. I would love to buy it and am checking into it right now with the relator.
I THANK Paula for all the pictures and updates on every one and it's just wonderful. I would love to have all my family stand in front of our house with all our kids and take a picture. What a great day that would be. The Melrose house is who I am.
Okay! I am totally balling. I am at work and I have to stop because I can't think of anything but moving to Melrose.

CORN DOGS ARE HOT DOGS!

Jax and I went grocery shopping and he spotted thru the icy glazed freezer window a Kids Cuisine and Jax grew so excited at looking at the blue wrapping with a corn dog, fries, corn and chocolate pudding with marshmallows. I thought Jax was gonna come undone and he begged me for a frozen Kids Cuisine! So, I told him if he behaved the whole time we were shopping we would stop by and get one.
I couldn't drive home fast enough, the microwave couldn't cook fast enough and the kids cuisne couldn't cool down fast enough for Jax to take the first wonderful amazing bite of the corn dog. Now, It never occured to me that he didn't know what a corn dog was. He has never had one, not that I know of. I love them but don't buy them or I would OCD over them and eat the whole box.
Jax took the first bite and then spit it right out. He looked at the corn dog, took the breading off and with big eyes he said "MOM! A CORN DOG IS HOT DOG!". The way he said it was so funny and it was such a great discovery and find for him. He quickly ate it and then wanted another! It was a great moment! I love the innocence of kids and their "first" of things.
Sunday was a lazy day. So beautiful outside. Bright blue skies and very chilly. Jax was antsy and into everything and very bored so I took him next door to the $1.50 movies and we saw the Veggie Tales movie. It was really great fun. I liked it a lot. It bothered me that vegetables talked and were hero's but Jax thought it was awesome and has put that movie on his "must have" movie list.
