~~Saturday I woke up and it was the best way to wake up. I fell asleep with the TV on and Vh1 was playing lots of Journey videos and how awesome to wake up to my lover Steve Perry. Jax disappeared downstairs and I hear "Mom! I have a surprise!" and it took him a while to make it up the stairs but he had a breakfast tray with cereal, milk, a napkin, some sugar and a spoon. He added cold bread and some butter as well and we sat in bed and ate breakfast and watched cartoons. Of course, I cried as Jax is so sweet and he was sooo happy to please me. I just love him.
~~Jax has his own cabinet that has his snacks and I put cereal in plastic baggies and pour milk in sippy cups so he can get milk when he wants it. He has to ask of course. Anyway, he had access to all that great breakfast food! Nice surprise!
~~We planted lots of flower seeds and it was very fun. It started to rain which was nice for our seeds.
~~I surprised Jax with a last minute stop by the $1.50 movie to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. It was a cute movie and we both loved it! Jax gave it a thumbs up and it's another "must have" on his list. I gave Jax $3.00 to pay for the movie and he was so proud to ask for tickets and it really makes him feel good to be so grown up.
~~ Saturday night we watched Rataouille (sp) until we fell asleep and it made for a nice day and evening.
SUNDAY! was very fun. It was nice and cool out and the sun was just right. I surprised Jax by pulling into the Waffle House parking lot and he got tears in his eyes. He was so excited! 'Mom, are you for real?" that is all he could say. We don't eat at Waffle House very much and he has been spoiled by two weekends in a row. I took pics of Jax at WH. He ate a ton! We came home and Jax and I played baseball for a few hours and then he wanted to play in the mud so I said "go for it". Boys need to play in the mud and be a boy.
~~Jax took a long bath, we attempted to watch Rataouille but fell asleep again.
