**Things have been crazy busy for me and I will give you an update.
**Jax turned 5 on April 17th and Jax and I celebrated by my taking him to breakfast at Pams. When we walked in they had a small surprise party for him. Even I didn't know they were doing it. They love Jax so much and have known him since he was born. Jax still doesn't want to be 5 and says he is 4 so we just go with that. After work Jax choose a happy meal for his birthday dinner so we went to the park and munched on happy meals and played in the park. Jax didn't want a party or a cake. He was really funny about it. A few days later he and Grandma made a cake together and that made me feel better. You gotta have a cake.
**Ashley and Collin are the new addtions to our family. Jax has two imaginary friends and they go with us every where and I have to set plates, etc.. etc.. most days for them. It freaked me out a bit but once I read it's so normal for kids to have imaginary friends I have accepted it and just go on with it. I even had to give a scoop of Mac/Cheese and green beans to both Ashley and Collin because they wanted seconds.... It's all a little weird for me as I have to pretend I am washing three heads, get out three towels, pretend they are almost every where with us. The only time they aren't around is when Jax and I sleep as Jax won't share the bed with them. Pretty funny. I am starting to adjust to having to do everything in 3. What will I do when they leave?
**My landlord still hasn't fixed my leaking pipes and other issues so I called the housing authority and to make a long story short she will be served papers to fix the almost 30 housing violations in 20 days or she can appeal and ask for an additonal 30 but none the less she will have to fix it all and she is in trouble. I hated doing it but enough is enough for me. We are still living there but have a few more weeks to find a new place and I am in the works with that. She is upset and has caused quite a ruckus for me. If I only knew when I moved in.
**My job is good. It's extremely busy and I don't have much time during the day to chat and e-mail. Our fiscal year ends June 30th and hopefully some more good temps will come the first of July to help us out.
**Spring has sprung and we love strawberries and the happy sunny weather and that everything is green. Jax loves the catepillars. The kind we used to get in Melrose. He keeps them, plays with them, squeezes their guts, etc... and it's all so gross but I am cool about it. He is being a boy and boys have to squish catepillars.
**Hope all is well. Things are good, crazy, nuts, around here. We are happy and doing well.
