Guess I felt left out

I guess I felt left out with not being part of the hospital club. First Sweet Baby Graham, then Dad and his stones and now me, just home for an over night stay in the hospital after being scared enough to call Jeremy and his telling me to go to the hopsital NOW rather then later and thank goodness I went Saturday afternoon or I would have just passed out and would have been there eventually. I started feeling bad on Wednesday and by saturday my blood pressure was over 160, I had blurry vision, couldn't talk right, couldn't stand up without feeling I was gonna pass out and had all the symptons of Pre-eclampsia (sp). I so didn't want to call Jeremy as he is soo tired but good thing I did. When I got to the ER my blood pressure was 172 over, I don't remember, but it was enough for them to call Labor and Delivery and have them start working with me along with the Er. I had to stay in Triage and the waiting room for a while since babies upstairs were being born like crazy and the Er was full. I was prepared by Labor and Delivery that because it had been several hours and my blood pressure would not go down that they may have to deliver the baby in a few hours and told me the baby would have about a 30% chance of living, etc,,etc,, so I said okay! I have a 5 year old and he needs me the most right now. But thankfully, after some medications and fluids, I found out that I was severely dehydrated, have a severe urinary tract infection and I have gestational diabetes. I eventally got a room at 2:30 a.m. (I got to the ER at 4:30p.m.).

I got home late last night. I am on indefinate bedrest until I can get my sugar and blood pressure at a good level. I spent from 8:30 - 2:00 at the doctors office today and am way tired.

Jax spent the day with me yesterday and we watched Stuart Little and Shrek and he ate lunch at the cafe with my great friend Tiffany and he had a good time. A little teary but he is fine. He was more upset that the baby didn't come then anything. Jax is so sweet. He didn't sleep at all last night. He kept waking me up to see if I needed anything and if I were okay. I was trying not to get upset with him as I wanted sleep and he needed to sleep for school. This morning he had a glass of water and some crackers waiting by my side of the bed, he with a big smile and sparkly eyes, ready to take care of his Mom!! so sweet! He really loves me.

As Preston says "If things come in 3 he and the rest of the family can rest easy now".

Well, I am going to bed now. More then tired.
