It's an exciting time in our country. I was proud of Obama and hope this will be a good thing. Jax went with me to vote as I told him it was one of the most important things he needed to do in his life time. He was very excited to learn that black and white people were once segregated and he didn't understand all I was telling him and it was great to teach him about history and show him pictures of Rosa Parks and other people who helped paved the way for change.
My home computer died a while back and I was posting blogs from work but they are strict about using the computer so I use the libray downstairs from my office to check e-mail a few times a week. I have pictures but have limited time on the computer so hopefully over the holidays I can get some pictures posted. I am at a friends house checking e-mail and posting on the blog today.
Jax and I are back in Raleigh now. Jax is doing good in school. He didn't miss any school and has had a good track. He will track out this friday but will spend some fun time in a track out program at his school and then off to some fun time at the YMCA. He is most excited about swimming and playing sports. His favorite subjects at school are PE, then Music, then Art. He seems to rush thru his work to get to the fun parts of school. It's weird to see Jax reading basic readers and how the time went by so fast.
We are settled in Raleigh and it's good to be back here. It's my home and I really am glad to be back and working and excited about the holidays. Jax is so excited about EVERYTHING! and comes home very hyper and excited about the Fair or Halloween and now on to Thanksgiving and then Christmas and then baby. Lots going on but great fun and it's what life is about. I have always loved the holidays so it's been great fun to put up decorations and celebrate another year.
We have been extremely blessed since being back and the small little blessings keep pouring in. Two great people in my life blessed me and continue to bless me with their love and support and I have also meet Christine and Dave who are amazing people who love Jax and now me. They continue to support me and help me to create the family and life I want. I am hoping to find out any time now whether or not I will get a medicial transcription job out of my home. It would be so great. I really want to stay home and I am an insanely great typist. I got that from my Mom. So, I hope that will come about. It would be awesome. I was and am fortunate enough to have two great kids answer my day care post so JAx and I have enjoyed extra kids coming and going and Jax loves to play.
Butterbiggins is 5 pounds already and I am 34 weeks. I have placenta previa, which means the baby is right at the birth canal and my placenta is that low. I am on bedrest for the next three weeks and he will be coming around the 21st. For whatever reason my fluid in the sac is low. Not dangerously low but we watch it every week and I am hoping that all will stay well for the next three weeks and then I will have my c-section right before Thanksgiving. Jax is out of his mind in anticipation and he is most excited about the sleepovers while I am in the hopspital and then the baby. So much going on and he is so happy. He set up the babies room and is constantly counting diapers, checking for wipes, making a list of what needs to be done, etc.. Very cute. I took him yesterday to see the 3D ultrasound and he couldn't stop jumping up and down. The baby defintely looks Broadhurst at this point. The Broadhurst side has very strong genes.
Well, I am bored. I hate to sit still and do nothing. Glad the elections over so I don't have to endure negative ads. Have the first two books of Twilight and everyone I know swears it's great! so I will start that to occupy my time while Jax is at school. It's been great to pick him up at the bus stop every day and have a fresh pot of something on the stove. Just like my Mom did for us. Also am looking forward to reading Maya Angelou's new book. I adore her.
