Who's your Daddy?

When I was posting pics Jax came up to me and said "Mom! Whose your Daddy!?". I about peed my pants the way he was looking at me which is how he looked at me in this picture. Thanks to Bart Simpson he asked Marge the same thing!! Simpsons has been banned from our house. Mainly because Bart asked Homer "Homer, what the hell is your problem?" and so Jax has repeated that around the house and at school and hunches over in laughter every time. The stuff kids learn and repeat!!! even at school.... sigh!

I try not to laugh but it's hard.

Friends Forever

Lots of c-sections and babies delivered at our house

Our house has been a little bit baby crazy with Jax and Ava around. Jax was able to see Ashton Spencer on a 3D ultrasound and since then he has been busy measuring stomachs, using his flashlight as a stethoscope, bandaids to go over the stitches, etc.. Jax and Ava know all about the csection and babies. Jax is very excited for Ashton's arrival. Every stuffed animal has a diaper on it. The puppy he is sleeping with is the puppy I gave him when he was first born. So sweet.

A Perfect Fall Day~

Reading "The Seat of The Soul"
for the third time in a row
I sit on the edge of Papa's field
watching Forest run up and down,
back and forth in pure delight, then spoiled,
bug infested apples and pears darting thru the air in
every direction. Fruit guts all over clothes and hands, what life is about.
Papa shaking his head in disgust but loving the freedom five years old still possess.
Butterbiggins surfing back and forth in my stomach and I watch multicolor leaves
falling and just beyond and around the corner "Ole Man Winter" is whispering "I am almost here".
Soon Frosty the Snowman and Ruldolph will be on and no longer will Jax and I just be "us".
Soon another baby to add to my family, to love, to snuggle to have suckling on my breast.
Weird to think.
Now a fire sending smoke signals to the universe and burning leaves takes my mind to
Chinese Honey's,
block parties
big Christmas'
Mom making good food, seasonal foods that make you love life,
missing those hands, the hands that Natalie has,
missing Mom's smile, her beautiful white hair,
the wood stove stocked full of blazing heat,
memories quickly forgotten as a toothless smile is standing before me
with grass stains and nature all over him and a huge water bottle, filled with
naughtiness from papa about to be squirted on me.
Threats of "Don't you dare" are ignored and the laughter of my "bird" is carried off in the wind and the leaves as they drift away and I am happy and content.

Sunday Evening

Jax and I are at the Kennedys. One of our favorite families. We swap babysitting all the time and it's great as Jax and Ava are the same age and they get along great for along time. Then eventually the fights and tiredness sets in and then it's time to go home.

We have had a great week. Lots of blessings continue to pour in and I kinda hate that I haven't journaled everything since I got back with all the goodness but in time I will sit down and do it all. Well, maybe :) Jax tracked out on Friday and will start a very fun motor skills class at school. Basically, it's another week of school for him but in a small class room type setting where they cut and cut and cut things and get those motor skills going and guess who loves to cut! :) Next week, YMCA watch out! Jax already has his swimming suit and bag packed for the day. It will be most fun.

Like his Aunt Natalie, Jax is a runner now. When Jax and others get a little too wound up at school they take walks around the track. Jax decided to run around the track and let's say my little Forest Gump doesn't want to walk and will run for a half hour if you let him. He has been running everywhere he goes and he loves it. So, I am contstantly yelling "Wait, for Mom" and he looks back and smiles this toothless grin. I swear Jax was a Lab in his former or maybe his life to come! He just wants to run. I am proud of him. And the food he is eating! He ate a whole box of kraft mac/cheese, almost a whole can of green beans and three cups of milk in one sitting. A few hours later he was hungry!! oh boy!!!

Butterbiggins is good. A few more weeks and he will be here. I go every week now and I am madly in love with my doctor. He is so good looking with his salt and pepper hair. Maybe it's hormones.

I continue to be bored on bedrest but LOVE being a MOM. Love getting Jax off the bus, love doing homework early, eating dinner early and spending the evening together instead of rush the evening away when I work. Jax and I are busy making christmas cards and ornaments and the dollar store has great crafts. It keeps us busy.

Jax and I are working on our Dream boards. You may have seen them on Oprah or my sister Natalie showed hers, I think, on her blog. Jax's is hilarious and I will have to take a picture.

Well, I am tired. I have a flu type cold that is going around big time here. I told the universe that I needed to get sick in the next two weeks if I am gonna get it so I don't spend my hospital time sick.

I love you all. Thanks for posting comments. It's been a while since I posted. hope to post more. Have a great week.

Kels!
