I have been so blessed and lucky and God and the universe has really blessed me. I have worked very hard to get my life back to what it was before I left for Utah. I have more to post on how life just continues to pour out great things. Once I get a computer I will continue to post.
I found a church ministry that gives free cars away to those in need. I have done a ton of networking and have been working with the homeless and with lots of different groups. I met Sue over the phone and we instantly connected. People donate cars to her ministry and once you apply and send a letter as to why you need a car they pray and then decide who should get one. She let me know before Christmas she had a car for me. I was so excited but the even better thing is that Mr. David in their church found out I had two kids and donated his van to us. I was so excited and shocked when I drove up thinking I would have a car. I was so happy just to have any type of car. So, I am indeed grateful. It's so weird to have a minivan. When I was driving home I got to laughing really hard as my friend Aimee HATES minivans. I have spent many times laughing at her hate for them and it's hilarious. I hope she checks out my blog and I have no doubt there is no way in hell she will ride in it!! lol...
I surprised Jax when I picked him up from school. I didn't have the ooomph to tell him we were getting a car as he would have bothered me for days about it. So, Jax was excited but a few minutes later he said "Can we go to McDonalds now that we have a car?".
Things are good here. It's been busy. I got off maternity leave on Monday and got our van on wednesday so been busy with catching up on a thousand things I need to do. I will be working from home for a bit and now have to tackle deep cleaning the house and getting everything in order.
This is going to be a GREAT year! Hope everyone is enjoying it thus far.
