TGIF

I, for one, am really glad it's friday! It's been such a busy week and it's nice to be in the library with complete silence other then Ash's hiccups.

Jax does have ADHD. No real big surprise. Jax's doctor is hysterical and I love her. She also has ADHD so knows all about it, she married an ADHDer as she calls him and both her kids have it and her life stories are hysterical. So, Jax started his meds, Vyanse, yesterday morning and I was told they could work quite fast. According to his teacher he was very focused all morning but come afternoon he became quite emotional and was crying for me. One of the side effects is being emotional. Jax came home just beside himself that he cried in the lunch line for his Mom. He cried on and off the whole evening so we spent lots of time snuggling and reading books. It's only been one day and we have to hang in there. I was wanting my hyper boy back instead of an emotional kid but we will see what happens. I was surprised the meds worked so fast but his Dr. said they could work right away. They are only good for 12 hours so when I woke up this morning ADHD was in full bloom with a photo shoot! sigh... so, I promptly gave him his meds ... RIGHT AWAY!! LOL..

Ash got his first rounds of vaccinations, which I am totally aganist, but that is a whole other entry, and he spiked a 102 fever and his shots started to spread. So, off to the doctor earlier this week, again.. and we just watched him and he is doing better now. I was at the doctors office so many times this week! :)

Tomorrow is Saturday and I plan on doing NOTHING but play at the park and enjoy life. We may get snow again on Tuesday (#$%^^&*^~!!). I am literally praying that the storm just skips on by.

Happy Baby

Now that the photoshoot is over Ashton was most happy this morning! Jax can really make him smile and Ash is such a joy! I love this age but I love babies more then any other stage.

Life with an ADHDer

I love ADHD! I love it! For whatever reason Jax wants to have these 6:00 a.m. photo shoots. I awoke this morning to a camera in my face, a cute and very hyper kid saying "Mom"! "photoshoot time"... !@#$%^&&!!#$$#&*! So, here are pics of Jax and his brother and me looking like I pulled an all nighter at some bar, drinking heavily with black eyes but in reality I pulled an all nighter serving breast milk, formula and forgot to wash my make up off but happy to be with Ashton. I do actually love to feed him and change him around the clock.

Even Ashton wasn't in the mood. He actually was pooping and farting. He has lots of gas lately! Can you tell who is the happiest in these pictures?
