Sick but beautiful weekend

I woke up on Friday morning with my yearly "welcome to Spring" allegies/sinus infection so I am popping Zrytec like crazy. It works great and I love it. I took it too late to help me with this one but more sinus infectons to come. Ash took his usual after noon nap and when I went to pick him up he was on fire. He had a 104 temp so off to the doctors office. I was concerned but thought it may be an ear infection as he has a tooth coming in and is drooling like crazy. After his having tests he has a pretty bad urinary tract infection and though his first fever broke he keeps having reoccuring high fevers. We aren't sure if he has a strong bacterial virus or if his bladder or kidneys aren't working right so today was another battery of tests and we go back on Monday for more tests and one more shot of an antibiotic. Then Tuesday we should be able to get an ultra sound and another dye test to see whats going on with him. Hopefully, he has just picked up a bad baceterial infection and a long term prevenative medication will knock it out. Worse case scenario would be surgery but I am not thinking about that yet. Take each second as it goes. Ash is sleeping and eating great and doesnt seem too uncomfortable so that is great as well.

We love Spring and it has Sprung. Jax is busy outside slicing worms and waiting for their body parts to grow back but I keep telling him he has the wrong worm and he won't believe me..hehehehe!! He is way into planting things so he throws seeds all thru out the yard and then the birds come behind them and eat them all. He gets so upset. I keep telling him to dig a hole and then put the seeds in but he won't listen. ADHD is like having three kids in one kids body. Just a busy, busy, busy kid. Then he will plant a seed and then decides he wants the garden "over there" and digs again. At least he is busy.

Have a great weekend. Enjoy the warm weather.

We are still alive~

I know it's been a while since I have posted. Things are very busy for me and the kids and I have a computer now and clearwire but I can't get the computer to work so I am back at the library.

The days are flying by and I can't believe it's March already. I tried calling Grandad for his birthday but he hangs up on me so I have sent him a card. Jax started Karate the first of this month and he goes twice a week so he is loving that. Anything to help him focus and work on the motor skills. He is so proud to wear his white karate suit and he even walks and acts different in it. It's hilarious. I will have to post pics soon. He has to do certain jobs and assignments every week and it helps me out so much as he is so into doing it all... for now!! heheeheeee!

Ash will be 4 months in a few days and he has gotten so big. He is a great baby. I adore him. I am so glad he is in my life. He has a lump that moves back and forth just behind his ear. The doctors are pretty sure it's a lymph node but he will go in for more tests next monday. I have peace. There is nothing I can do about it and several doctors have examined him and they feel sure it's nothing serious. I hate to love something so much as it hurts when bad news abounds.

I am fine. Tired. My house is revolving door of kids. In and out. Up and down. 24/7Constantly cleaning, doing laundry for my family and those in the day care. Lots of home work, karate chops, diaper changes and I try for a weekly esacpe to the $1.50 movie. Jax and I do lots of community service for the homeless and low income and I am working on a sharewear for low income single mothers in the area. Lots of work but so rewarding to see relief on the womnans faces when they know their kids have clothes for weeks or months and big bags of clothes are taken home.

Funny how life is so happy but sad. I think the hardest thing for me to do in this life is to love as when I love, I love too much. Two of my good friends have cancer. So young. In their 40's. I still need to get a mammogram and I dread that as I feel good but am afriad the results will be bad. FEAR!! What a MF-----! and I am constantly getting moles checked. I have peace about every thing and then some one close to me announces they have cancer or diabetes or their kids are this or that and it humbles you. I pray every day to "please let me live till the boys are 20". That way they are adults.

Perhaps that is why I have too many toys in my house, I bake cookies all the time, I make sure I listen to Steve every day and teach Jax to really just love today as that is all we have. And now having another baby puts life in such a real place.

I love staying home. It's been so nice to see Jax on the bus and see him get off the bus. He is way embarassed as I want a hug or to even touch him in front of his friends is "like, so gross"! or "Mom!, my friends are watching!" I kiss him any way! I don't care. He will get over it!! ha!ha!

I will post pics soon. Just wanted to update as I have gotten several e-mails from people wondering if I was still alive.
