We have had a lot of rain lately and today it has poured off and on all day. Here are pictures of Jax, Ava and Dane playing in the water. Great fun. Also, pictures of Ash. He was just hanging out after a bottle.
Life is good at the Broadhurst house. It's been quite a busy week with taking Ash to his doctors appointments. Ash is fine. After an ultrasound and a dye test his organs are all healthy and fine. It was very neat to see his bladder and kidney on the ultra sound and when he peed you could see it. Pretty neat. He will be on a prevenative antibiotic for a while and all should be good. I am very relieved. He definately had a uti and we will watch him carefully.
It's funny now that Jax is in kindergarten his social life is starting to really get busy and I am so socially retarded it's not funny! Invites to easter egg hunts, karate socials, birthday parties and more fun.
We have joined a fun drum circle. Quite the character comes to them. Mainly hippies, musicians and "like right on" mentality but it's great fun. People bring drums of all sorts to Pullen Park, you bring a chair and the kids dance and play with each other and it's hypnotic and so interesting. I love it because there isn't a care in the world of what is happening. You just stay in the moment. Sweet!
April is fast approaching and my shareware for the homeless is going well. Lots of clothes will be available and it's exciting. The easter bunny will be hopping around and then Jax's 6th birthday party. One of the things I love about Jax is he wants adults and kids there. He can party and get along with all ages. It's so great to see. Today we did invitations and his handwriting is so fun to see. We are gonna have a cupcake decorating party. Karate keeps us busy twice a week and he has several fun competitions we will go see. Jax and I are doing service for the month of May at his school. They need help with picking up trash and weeding the flower bed so we just planned on that for our family service project. This month is doing the shareware and who knows what June will be. Jax gets to pick the place.
Well, the rain has stopped. Jax is half nakked in front of the door and Ava and she is gigglig at his buttocks so I better get them dressed. Five is such a silly age especially with kids and body parts :)
