TGIF

Bless his heart! Jax woke up at 4:03 a.m. this morning or I should say he woke me up then. All ready for school. So proud he was dressed and ready to go with out being asked. Of course, he has no concept of time so I explained the early hour and I could not get him to go back to sleep so he watched Ratatouille and played with trains while Ash and I went back to bed. I really couldn't sleep as I heard a clink and clank, then shells cracking and "oh shoot!" and I could invision egg slime every where and yep! egg slime was everywhere so I got up! We had an early morning breakfast and it was actually quite nice but I feel and felt like this picture. Then at 6:30 eyelids are heavy, drool starts on an open mouth and a startled snore as Jax's head bounces back and forth to keep him awake. I wrote the teacher a note :)

Working on a volunteer flier for downtown and a group I am working with. I like this one. Simple but gets the point across. And I found it. Could never be creative enough to make it meself.

Busy weekend ahead. Watching 3 brothers who come just about every friday night. Then Jax has a snow make up day for just half the day. Silly really to make them only go half a day. Why bother? Then off to his Karate Easter egg hunt and then to the park as it will be in the 70's and I can't stay inside when it's that nice.

Happy Weekend~

One of my favorite websites

I love to search blogger. I love to read about others lives. Fun to see what people are doing. I love this blog. It's called Frugallessons. I am starting to cut coupons and save. I ordered my Free copy of people magazine. Ordered my free rebate check for the razor. I am really weird but I great really excited to do stuff like this! Enjoy!

Can't Wait to see this movie!

Bored on April 1st

Well, you won't be now join us for our DRUM CIRCLE!

On April 1st our Hoop Jam moves back outdoors. And we might have some company. I think a reporter from the N&O is coming to do a story on us. It would be a great night to come out and promote our gathering and it also sets a nice tone for the coming Spring, Summer and Fall. Let's make it a big reunion and celebrate our one year anniversary of the Hoop Jam. Also, it's supposed to be 70-degrees! Yippeee!!!!

The Raleigh Hoop Jam is free and open the the public. It's every Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 pm. Bring your hoop, bring your drum, bring a chair if you need one for drumming. Also feel free to bring other instruments and other toys as well as friends. Bring your friends! It's a fun, free, healthy outing. I'll have lots of extra hoops so come even if you don't have a hoop. I look forward to seeing you there!

Horrible Homeless Stats for Raleigh

http://blog.ncceh.org/2009/03/19/44-no-more/

1 in 22 kids in North Carolina reported not knowing where they would get their next meal, and families earning full-time minimum wage did not make enough to cover rent on a 2 bedroom FMR apartment in our state and still have money left over for other essentials.

It's Spring time and if your spring cleaning please donate to local homeless shelters, food banks or drop your items off to my house and I will personally deliver them to people who I KNOW will give them to the needy and not take for personal gain. I will also personally deliever them myself. There are too many with out, especially the children. It's amazing how much stuff we do have once we start sorting thru things. Leave a comment and if you would like to leave things for me to donate.

Happy Monday!

It's a gorgeous day out! Spring is starting to spring a little more and it's nice out. Sunday was incredibly nice. Jax, Ash and I met Angela at the Chop House for brunch and it was so nice to chat and see her again. Angela lives about 40 minutes, which isn't far, but the days go by so fast and we don't see each other as much I would like to see her. It was nice to be around an adult for a long time as well! heheheeh!!! We drove to the Southpoint Mall. It's a newer mall and since I am not a mall person I don't go but it was so nice to be out and walking in the sun shine, the cool breeze and an ice cream cone was a real treat too. The mall is very beautiful with lots of water fountains. Jax had a great time throwing pennies and eventually getting really wet by them. It was a perfect day. Ugh! Why didn't I take my camera? So many great pictures I coulda taken. Thanks Angela, for the fun!

So, I am leaving now. I am off to grocery shop and then pick Jax up from the bus. We are going to finish his party invitations and then do something fun. Not sure what.

Kels~
