If I had a video camera and taped what happened today I could have submitted the tape to America's Home Video's or whatever that show is. And yes! big fat girls do jump and can move pretty damn fast and my neighbors outside were laughing at me hysterically and so was Jax. He being all hunched over!! I coulda won the money!
I was outside doing yard work. My landlord, who I love, but who won't do yard work, didn't clear all the leaves from last year as promised so I bought a rake and started that project today. New fall leaves will be dropping soon and it will look bad. So, I am all happy making leaf piles, etc.. etc.. and I am kneeling down to grab leaves and out of no where comes this HUGE and I mean HUGE spider. The picture doesn't really do it justice. He was all black and furry and oh my gosh the fangs! All hunched up ready to beat the heck out of me and out of no where I yell "Slap me twice and send me down the river!" and I ran up my drive way screaming. Leaving the baby in the stroller and Jax hunched over in laughter.
So, my neighbors captured it and I took a picture and we sprayed it with colorox clean up and he is now dead! I have NEVER moved that fast in my life and why I yelled that I don't know.
I will NEVER get over growing up with 26 orange trees where huge spiders lived in the branches and we would have to pick the oranges and the spiders would climb up our arms and go down our shirts. I was so terrified of them and then when it's cold they flatten their bodies until they get into a window. It's just not right!
I am so itchy all over. My next door neighbor is a landscaper and he said it was a big size and I am going to pay him $20.00 to finish my leaves. I am never going out in the yard again!
