Tonight we are getting ready for tomorrow. Another school week, work week and a busy crawling and getting two front teeth week. Yes! I said crawling! Angela and I were talking about Ash starting to crawl last weekend while watching Ash on the floor and on thursday he was having tummy time. I put the toy way in front of him to help his neck muscles and he did three complete crawls, put his head down for a few seconds (he was tired) and then did another three complete crawls! I was so excited but couldn't believe it. Ash just turns his head to look at you and smile waiting for praise! Today he crawled off and on but you can see that it's a lot of work for him.
Two swollen bumps are on the bottom gums and I am so happy their is baby oragel.You can just see a white tip sticking out so the 8 month mark for Ash has been quite busy already. No telling when his two teeth will be out as with Jax I was teased a few times before they were out and staying out.
Ash LOVES his baths and he is really too big for the sink but he is so fast and he arches his back and slides out of the baby bather I have and I have a bath seat but he tips it over causing the suction cups to come off the bottom. He just wants to move and not sit still. The sink works better. Ash is catching the bubbles and laughing in this pic. He is soooo cute!
My friend Rainy just had a baby girl last week and I saw her baby today. It made me so baby hungry. Ash doesn't make those "brand new" baby noises when he eats or sleeps anymore and that brand new baby smell! gosh, i love it but it's gone. I just love newborns but 8 monthers are fun too. 8 months is a great age!
So, Simon, our new addition is a pure mess! He was quite attached to me when we got him two weeks ago but I some what ignored him to let Jax be the one in charge and Simon has very much bonded with Jax and Jax with Simon. I had Simon on top of the entertainment center but he projectiles his seeds out in the middle of the floor and it's such a mess so he is now in the kitchen. I was doing laundry when Jax and Simon started to play so I took these pictures. We have learned that Simon LOVES the Netflix envelopes. I think it's the color red. When we would walk in the house with Netflix Simon would whistle and squawk and follow you thru out the house. He would go right for it! So, he has a collection of them now.
