My Saving Grace~

Ash is looking more and more like my mother and Jax. Nothing better then a biter biscuit in one hand, his favorite toy in the other and sitting up with two binkies!! I have to put a blanket behind him and on the sides as he will fall over sometimes and the hard wood floor hurts! ouch!

KENDALL

I adore Kendall. She is so sweet but also a very big mess! She has a big attitude and gives "Mamma" (me) a time every once in a while but I love her. She lets me corn row her hair, snuggle and love on her... most days. She and Jax seem to fight a lot. Just like brothers and sisters.... Isn't she soooo cute!

Eston, is a pure sweetheart! He loves cars and as soon as he walks in the door he is looking for his cars. He loves to put them in his pockets and all day,at all times, even at nap time, he has two cars in his hands. He is very laid back and more quiet compared to the two girls.

Anchell, is the newest of the bunch and she is sweet but very LOUD. She never cries but is a screamer when excited and she and Kendall are such girls. Very dramatic and sqreeching loudly at this or that.

It's fun to see all three play together and work things out and share and not share,etc.. I have a great bunch of kids and parents.

JACK~

Jax makes me laugh all the time. We have a lot of stoopid silly fun. We spent most of today speaking in an english accent. Since all the kids had bibs on he walked in with his daycare tray and a bib and in his very well done english accent he said "Mother, may I have some butter for my buttocks". I got laughing so hard and that got the kids going. So, I said "Of course, sire, or you may have some grey poupon for your poopies" and Jax/Jack spit out his dino bite and rolled over in laughter!!! I do what ever it takes to save my sainty!!!! lol...... I adore Jax, aka Jack.

DayCare Crew

Here is my daycare crew. Sitting on the couch is Eston, Ashton, Jax, Kendall and Anchell. All the toddlers are 19 months old. I also watch Lathan and Kellen but they are part time and of course not in picture. The kids in the picture playing at the kitchen are Bailey and Alliyah, my weekend kids.

I used to have the kitchen we have years ago and I really missed it so much. It's hard to find a kitchen like that anymore as they don't make them. The universe has been good to me again and I found the same kitchen a few weeks back on Craigslist. I was so excited I coulda peed my pants. The kids spend hours cooking and it's great fun!

Fall is in the air

Fall is in the air (for me anyways) and it's quite dangerous when I get "that feeling" as I start pulling out the holiday boxes. I am so trying not to hang the "Welcome Fall" sign on my front door and put some Fall type decorations out. The end of August always starts the Fall and holidays for me. Jax is jumping at the bit to help so perhaps tonight we will start to pull a few things out, but never will a few things stay in the box :)

Since I last posted things have been so busy and I don't seem to have enough time in the day to get on the computer and update. I find myself in endless mounds of laundry, cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning and changing lots of diapers. The payoff with having a home day care is so worth it as I get to be with my boys.

Jax is STILL tracked out and we have one more week to go. I have had only two days with him that I was ready to put him in the garbage when the garbage truck passed by! hahahaa! and I make sure he has plenty of play dates and activities to do. Sometimes ADHD just overcomes and it's a whacky, restless day regardless of what activies are before him.

Jax now goes by Jack. Not sure what the change is. I ask him and he says that he is changing his name. He likes Jack better so I said "okay!, sounds good to me". I slip up and he quickly corrects me! Sigh! One more thing for me to remember! Just kidding.

Jack is into girls. He and Ms. Sharon next door are best friends and while watching Scooby Doo the other day they were holding hands. I didn't say anything. I wasn't sure what to say. Sharon's parents are going through a divorce and she talks all the time about her Daddy not living there any more so perhaps holding hands with Jax provides some comfort for her. It's all purely innocent.

We were at Golden Corral the other day for a goodbye party and Jax saw a girl. He went right up to her and told her she was beautiful. They ended up eating loads of ice cream cones and he actually got her number for a play date. Alicia's Mom and I just watched them in amazement and Jax was so good to her. Helping her with her ice cream cone and he actually put his hand on her back to guide her to our table. Alicia's Mom (the little girl's mom) was so impressed. So,I have a Mr. Romeo on my hands.

Month 8 & 9 continue to be a very busy month(s)for Ashton. As you know, he is crawling and rolling everywhere. I have baby proofed the living room which was not fun. I got my wish and two teeth are in on the bottom. It brings such character. I have been trying to take a picture of his toofers but he sticks his tongue over them and won't let me get a peak. I will eventually get a pic. Ash is very outgoing. He LOVES the kids in daycare. He gets very upset and cries if I remove him from the group to change his diaper, feed him or put him down for a nap. He just wants to be in the middle of it all. I just adore him and he is my saving grace at the end of the day.

I am doing good. I just finished paying off a second vehicle. The van works great but I don't ever want to be with out a car again and I was offered a great deal. As a mother your always an advocate for your kids but I never thought I would be an ADHD advocate and teach people what I know. I have fired Jax's doctor and found a great neurologist developmental pediatric doctor who specializes in ADHD, OCD and Autism. I had to get a referral by current doctor and she didn't want to refer me but she had no choice as I was to go above her so she has given me the referral. I am waiting for an appointment now and hope it's sooner rather then later. I look forward to getting an exact diagnosis of how severe his ADHD & OCD is and get him on the right medicine. I am very disappointed in his old doctor who has ADHD herself and I seem to wait 30-40 minutes for her appointment and she is literally pushing me out the door as soon as I get there with out really hearing me and if I am not heard I get a little pissy so after a year of my son suffering, and my challenge as a mother to provide the best for Jax I researched the best doctors and ideal medicines, etc.. and I am going forward.

I have joined two ADHD support groups. One is online and the other in person. I don't know when I will have time to go to them or log on but it's nice to know the support is there. It's hard having a very smart kid with learning disabilities but I am up for the challenge. And if Jax, or Jack, was born years ago he would fit into this world perfectly with no problems. :)

I am going to try and post a lot of pics and be done posting for a week or so.
