Changes

I am so grateful today is Saturday. So grateful to be able to sleep in until 8:30. No getting a grumpy boy outta bed, no fixing breakfast early, no bus stop, etc... I am still incredibly tired and could use at least a months sleep but I am so happy to have no kids to watch other then my own.

This has been a rough week for me. Especially, by Thursday, I was really out of any patience I had or could muster. I usually can go to my "save my sanity" books, or pray or find laughter and release by watching Pillow Talk or some other movie but so far it's just not happening.

Maybe it was just too much potty training this week. I have Cameron and Kendall potty trained. Now working on Eston and making sure Ashton watched. Ashton sits on the potty and we all clap and he gets M&M's but he is still too little. He does make it known that he gets a turn! :)

Thursdays are hard days for me. I acutally wrote a rant and rave, which Michelle read, sorry Michelle, but I erased it as it was too negative and my personality was sure on a roll. By Thursday I am pretty much tired of watching the daycare kids and taking care of every one else. Life knew I needed to get out of my house on Thursday and Angela FB me to see if I wanted to go to dinner. I couldn't get out the door fast enough! :)

Today was a busy day. Ashton is officially in his own room with Jax. Ron came over and took down the crib and then put it back up. Jax was way aganist it but once I put Ash in his crib they got a burst of being WILD! and they had fun together. I would love to say that it last but in no time at all Ashton was in the lego's and both boys crying and mad at each other......sigh....... it's just starting.

I am still waiting for my insurance to be approved. It's been 2 months since the pink spot has appeared on my face and I hate to think I might be joining the skin cancer club...yuck! Several friends who has had fun with this told me it looks precancerous and they have had the same thing. So, I am not gonna get all worked up about it but I pray insurance can be approved soon so I can get in and get it checked out. I love the sun! and all those years may be catching up to me.

The boys took their offical first bath together. It was so much fun. Bubbles and water EVERYWHERE! Ashton SCREAMED when I took him out. He was not happy about leaving even though he was a prune.

The boys are in bed. I have no patience. My teeth, eyes and head hurt from a sinus infection. Things are blooming and I am miserable.

ALLERGIES SUCK!

Day Trip to the Zoo

TURTLES

I JUST FORGOT WHAT THEY ARE CALLED :) SEA OTTERS?

LATHAN

Nakia, her son Lathan (who comes to my day care) and Kellen and my boys and myself loaded up the van on Sunday morning and took a vacation from life and headed west on 64 to Asheboro. The trip there and back was awesome. Thanks to Gameboys and the DVD player. Both babes slept the way there and back and it was just a good trip.

Neither one of us had been to the Asheboro Zoo so we didn't realize how big and spread out it was. I was a bit disappointed as the animals were way out in the field and the Elephants and the Gorilla were extremely upset and agitated, or so I thought. The Gorilla would run around his big area and then come running right for the glass, hit the glass and of course, all us humans go running and screaming. Perhaps, the Gorilla was hysterically laughing in side but he sure looked mad to me.

The female elephant stood in front of this HUGE hole or moat that was long and it seperated her from the male. She stood in front of the moat and swayed her head back and forth, and back and forth, over and over again. And the male seemed very unhappy. I don't know if the swaying was a mating thing but I felt bad that they all seemed seperated. I am sure there was a good reason.

The boys had a good time and loved running around and seeing the animals. Ashton kept pointing at every thing and saying "Look!". That is his new word.

Here are a few pictures. I dropped my camera and everything is blurry now so I missed a lot of great pictures :( Jax says if I drop the camera again maybe it will fix it. Perhaps, he is right? lol..... I sure don't want to buy another digital camera.
