Spiderman gets a bug collector

Jax had a GREAT track in and since he just tracked out he earned a really cool bug collector. He has a big base to hold lots of bugs or create an ant farm and on top are three seperate magnifying holders for different bugs. It's been great fun.

Baby gots brand new shoes

Target had these shoes on for $1.74 so I got three pairs and Ash loves them. What a memory the first time he put them on. He liked marched with them on and then in no time figured out how to pick up speed. Look how long his legs are! I have no babies around any more!

Guess who's feeding himself

Ash LOVES a fork! He gets very upset and will cry if you try and help him eat and if he does not have utensils by his plate. After all, he is 18 months now, and how DARE I treat him like a baby!

Spiderman

(The look he gives me when I tell him he can't pour that huge container of punch by himself and NO! I don't believe his strong muscles will help him out)

Jax LOVES this costume. He wears it constantly. I have to beg him to wash it. I need to buy another one as I can mend so many times.

Jax is happy as he has $7 in his allowance box. He has to do jobs and if he gets good marks after each track out then he gets more money. I am so proud of him. He also has major booogers thanks to his allergies.

Putting sheets on the big boy bed

Changing the sheets on Ash's bed. Gotta get a jump or two in!
A dirty playroom and the house a mess
if I could just get a few minutes rest
An hours time to myself is what I need
his arms full with dropping books "Mom can you read?"
I smile and here comes the mothers guilt
"ok, I say, "Go get your favorite quilt
page after page, and 12 "The Ends"
off to a sleepy world my voice does send
my sweet Jax who is 7 and so grown
but still wants his Mom to read the unknown
I sigh as I look at my house and thank the world for another day
and am so grateful I didn't turn him away".
