My best friend~ He ain't right :)

Jax and I a few days go! Jax scored a 126 on his IQ test.. not to shabby! Am damn proud of him. Not only is he good lookin'.. he's smart too!

Swimming a few days ago

The pool closes on Sept. 5th and we are way sad about it. We have spent out weeks and weekend here. Ashton jumps and swims to the side by himself now and is a great swimmer with his floater on. I taught Jax how to swim last year and he picked it up great this year. He was all over the pool. He loves to put a floater on sometimes, any way.. silly boy.

There are two pictures of Ash licking the pool rail. My kid is a FREAK! He loves to lick the pole, grocery carts, and other germ infested thing. It's horribly gross but he just won't stop!

Binky Love

Found these binkies after a few months being behind the bed. I forgot all about them but Ash sure didn't. You should have seen his face when he saw them.. Pure LOVE!

Grocery Shopping

I hate Harris Teeter. One they are expensive but I love their produce and salsa. Two they have kids shopping carts which my kids WANT.. oh, and their is a Three.. they give out free balloons... A parents worse nightmare... or at least mine.

These pictures sure look cute of them pushing their carts but it was hell getting the both of them to focus when laughing hysterical from smashing each others carts into each other and other things in their way.

Aren't they cute!

Jet Packs

It's been very hot here this Summer so we have had to use our imaginations a lot to keep our boredom at bay. We did a lot of playdoh, board games, trains, and pool time.

Jax and Ash have been making lots of Turbo Jet Packs out of plastic bags. Oh! how fast they can go! And lots of smiles and giggles.

Downtown Raleigh

For Home School we went down town. We caught the bus at the end of our street. I was so excited to go. So was Jax. He had such a great time. He learned a lot about how to use the bus, bus times, how much it costs. It was a good learning experience for him. It was Jax's job to map out a route, where we were gonna go, and what buses to hop on and off. We went downtown and Jax didn't want to get off the bus so we drove the bus through the city, back into Cary, made the loop and went back to Downtown.

I had "I Spy" landmarks for the kids so they could learn and recognize, the courthouse, the prison, the news station and other landmarks. I think Jax enjoyed the most the underground tunnel that goes from the jail house to the courthouse. He couldn't get over that. It is pretty cool.

We were really excited to get a hog dog at the vendors. There was only one their that day (very surprising) and he had finger nails longer then mine. Jax took one look at his nails, buried his face into my shoulder and said " I can't eat that from him." I smiled and said "Let's go to Chick fil a", so we did and the kids got a free ice cream.

It was a great day!
